Oh my goodness! My day started at 7:00 am when I opened my eyes, shocked scared, by a face staring at me from a foot away. Well, it turned out that my arm was bent, and it was my hand in front of my face. I first shrieked, then got the giggles. Shaking the bed, I knew I woke Larry up & that made me giggle more. Then I thought "What a wonderful way to wake up… giggling!" & that just added fuel to the 'giggle' flame.
I calmed down & went to do my morning readings. Powerful in a beautifully silent way. Silent to the ear, but not the heart. After 20 minutes I began to journal. My sister-in-love Linda sent me a message right then, that spoke of the beauty of listening, rather than asking & telling. It put words to what I was experiencing.
I had been journaling for an hour, lost in time, when Larry surfaced. Then… the giggles started again all through our breakfast. The great thing for me is that he genuinely thinks I'm funny & entertaining (well, at least this morning). Each time one of us would mention the 'wake-up' experience, we'd have a laughing fit. He said how wonderful it was that I could wake up with such happiness. He's happy for my happy & I'm happy for his happy! It's 2:00 now, he's gone out for a bit, so the laughing is on hold… I think. I'm exhausted from it and my surgery stitches have had a good workout.
I've enjoyed a few quiet bits in between the laughing fits. But I'm hyper right now, so you're getting the effects from it.
In the quieter times, I've enjoyed looking out the windows at the beautiful ever-changing sky as well as the flower garden on our balcony with the budding trees in the background. We moved to this condo in Nov. 2017. Never thinking before that we'd be condo people, we love it so much. 3rd floor, looking west with nature in front of our wall of windows. A heart message with every view. Especially now, with the trees budding more each day. Lots of birds and our resident humming bird. Feeling so grateful and blessed. God bless you. Xoxoxo I love you!
