The Doctor called at noon today. When I checked in at 10:00 this morning, I was told that no results had come in yet. Well, they came in at noon, and the doctor called immediately.
There was no cancer found outside the uterus. But the cancer I had was very aggressive. The Doctor is 'on it' today, in organizing a team to get my Chemo & Radiation Strategy planned out, (before my scheduled follow-up appointment on March 31). I'll let you know when the routine begins.
The info below is very helpful in understanding why I need such aggressive therapies, even though the cancer was contained in the uterus, which was removed, in surgery.
Larry recorded the conversation, which is very helpful in clarifying the notes I was taking. Shortly after he returned to his zoom conference, the rain was pouring down, so I took a drive to the river, to be still, & listen to the sound of the rain beating down on the car roof. When the rain eased up, I went for a walk. I had the trail all to myself. Just me and the soothing sights, sound and feel of nature!
A couple of deliveries of loving comfort came: a beautifully delicious meal; & home-made bread. We're being so well taken care of. God bless you. Thank you for your continued love & prayers. Xoxoxo
Read the info under the titles:
'Stage 1 Uterine Cancer', then 'SURGERY'
(There is Stage 1A, 1B, I HAVE STAGE 1C)
