REST IN PEACE, RICHARD Wednesday, April 7, 2021 2:13 PM
This morning at 7:30, Richard left his earthly life. He died with a heart of faith, hope and love.
For all the sadness of his life of years in addiction, the last 8 years have proven to be a wonderful gift of time and grace, to discover and realize the plan God had for his life. He will continue to be an inspiration to many, long after today. We will miss him, but we are grateful that his terrible suffering and pain are over. We pray for his soul to rest in peace and we also hold his wife, his mother & daughter and many who were dear to him in prayer, that God would give them consolation and peace. God bless you. Xoxo

We began with friends sharing a few words. When Luke 15 House residents are included, the most powerful messages come from them. They expressed their gratitude and the profound influence Richard had on their lives, at the time they 1st came to recovery and now, a few healthy years later.
I couldn't believe at 3:00 when I received a link for 4:00 for a zoom gathering & Mass for Richard with Fr. Gabriel from St. Mary's. About 25 people joined, including Richard's wife from the Philippines.
Fr. Gabriel is so gifted in really 'listening' to the needs of people and how to facilitate a group that may not know each other, to become united in a common bond.
My heart and tear ducts today were overflowing as I thought of the special tribute, and of course for Maphil and Zuleyka In the Philippines, who have not seen Richard for well over a year. We will continue to hold them and Richard's Mom & Daughter here, in our hearts and prayers. Thank you for your good wishes & prayers. God bless you
