Hello!
Larry was sitting in his chair as I arrived with our friend. Larry acknowledged her. Soon, Fr Mark came. Larry really lit up & expressed how good it was to see him. Fr. Mark said beautiful prayers & annointed Larry. What was particularly lovely, was that Larry was joining in the prayers. There was one very expressive 'Lord have mercy!' that was great to hear. We appreciate so much Fr Mark's effort to come to the hospital for Larry.
Maureen showed Larry photos of an amazing catch of salmon. A 26 pounder by her daughter. Larry's eyes really lit up.
A while later Larry's aunt & cousin came to visit, with Mary-Lynn. They are here for a few days from Williams Lake. They were all so happy to be together. Larry was initiating a lot of conversation.. They'll come to see him before they go back.
When the O.T. came, Larry was tired out from the morning activities. She gave me some exrcise instruction sheets. Larry participated really well in one hand/fingers exercise & a word one. We're keeping a record of what & how he does, so therapists can have a better idea of how far along he is progressing.
The nurse said that the dialysis for the next week will be less often. We are so encouraged about that. Larry was coughing a bit more today. Hopefully that won't last.
I'm writing now from the hospital. As I won't be home until late tonight. We will be participating in our zoom Cursillo gathering for 7:00 until 8:00.
Today I'm offering prayers for the loved ones of 3 women in early 20's who died tragically over the past months. We pray that peace comes to all.
Larry has said he wants to participate, so I hope he'll be comfortable while we'll be with others via our tablet. I'm giving the witness talk at 7:30 ish
Talk to you tomorrow. God bless you.
