I KNEW YOU'D WANT TO KNOW ... (10.18.22)
Hello. I know I said I wouldn't post, but how could I not.
From 6:00 on, Larry kept telling me that I should leave & not be late for a zoom meeting scheduled for 7:00 for Cursillo. The theme was commitment. Larry can't wait to play an active part again in Cursillo, which he was & still is committed to. He'll appreciate hearing what was shared. 'Commitment', for sure is a key word in moving forward.
I wasn't there to see it, but Larry told me that with the help of parallel bars, he took 10 steps this morning. That's a first. Larry had a busy morning & afternoon, with physio & visits. Lots of action in his room. We were cheering on Larry's room mate who left today for rehab at Queens Park. It's been wonderful to witness the progression of his recovery. We fell in love with this young family & hope to see them when Larry goes to rehab as well.
Together, on his tablet, we'll be watching talks this week: 'Don't stay stuck' - 'Worrier to Warrior' - 'Think Big, Believe Big, Receive Big' - 'As You Think, So You Are' - 'Making Sense out of Suffering'! He'll pick & we'll go at his pace.
Larry has left the starting gate & needs cheerleaders more than ever! Thank you for being one! God bless you! xoxo
