GOOD DAY, LONG DAY, GOOD NIGHT! (11.11.22)

Hello! Welcome to this Remembrance Day! This is the first time Larry has ever not gone to the 11:00 ceremony to honour the veterans who sacrificed so much by serving in the armed forces, his dad & my dad included.

No therapies today, but Larry had a good walk in his wheelchair, by propelling himself along with his feet & pushing the rims with his hands. He also managed more of his self-care. I stayed until it was his bedtime. He was eager to say, "Good night!" as he'd been up for quite a while.

I'm done for the day! God bless you! Take care! xoxo (the pic is another beautiful sky as seen from Larry's window)

The doctor said he was so pleased with Larry's progress & they are waiting for a bed to open up to transfer him to a rehab centre. I'm not sure how official that is, but I'll check into it on Monday. Everyone that sees Larry, or speaks with him on the phone, with more than a week between visits, remarks on how much his speech has improved.
