QUIET SATURDAY (11.26.22)

Hello, welcome to our day!
No therapy on weekends, so that makes for a quiet day. Our son & his wife came for a visit this morning. Larry & I did a tour down a new hallway & met a couple of neighbours. Sadly, there are a good number of patients that are fairly young. Seeing hard working patients, on their own, pushing themselves to walk or peddle beyond when their bodies want to call it quits. We saw many champions today!
Tomorrow will likely be similar, except that there are a few more neighbours on the unit, that we can greet by name, after having met them today. Very welcoming they were, to the new 'kid' on the block!
Larry enjoyed a video call from his RCH roommate, who is still waiting for a diagnosis after 7 weeks. Her mom visits a friend at Queens Park & stopped by with the cute little Christmas tree in the photo above.
