GRATEFUL FOR A GREAAAAT DAY
Wednesday, February 3, 2021 7:44 PM
We began our day by receiving Communion at our church, which for us is the best way to start any day. Then we stopped by Larry's sister to pick up treats she had for us, which included 'Mom's' cabbage rolls. Soooo delicious!
I went to my appointment with my G.P. to discuss the results of my CT scan from last week. "It's very good news, the scan showed nothing!" was what he said. So now, I wait for the call from the cancer clinic to go over things before the surgery.
We celebrated this beautiful day by walking along the Po.Co. trail dyke. So much snow on Golden Ears Mtn. against a bright blue sky & reflected on the river. It's always breath taking to us. We've walked that dyke since the 70's and this was the first time we saw a swan. I know they can be nasty (I was attacked once by one) but this one was so peaceful and didn't mind me at all, visiting quietly from the shore. It felt like she was happy to share my good news.
Every day we see or hear from people who let us know they are praying for us. We are certainly enjoying the fruit of those prayers in the grace that has carried us through the last two months with such peace. We are so very grateful. May God bless you with abundant grace.
