WRAPPED IN LOVE!
My heart is full from the abundance of love shown in so many ways! Yesterday, I was surprised by a friend (on behalf of the W.O.W. sisters (women of wisdom), a group of 5 who meet (now virtually) to share our stories & pray with & for each other. They gifted me with a 'prayer shawl' knitted by a group of women who pray as they create a way for others going through challenges, to be 'wrapped in prayer'! This dear friend also poured a lot of love into delicious soup & biscuits, enough to freeze some for when I won't feel like cooking. Larry & I are also extremely blessed to be part of the wonderful & diverse Cursillo community of many friends whom we've come together with on a regular basis, free to share (just as I do with the W.O.W.s) the core of who we are as Christians.
We have been meeting with our Vancouver Cursillo friends for over 20 yrs. For the past several months, we've joined an international group via Zoom to again, share our journeys, witnessing to the powerful ways God has & is working in our lives. Today we participated in a celebration of Mass from Mallorca, honoring the founder of Cursillo on the 13th anniversary of his death. We were excited to recognize 2 Mallorcan men who we've met here in Canada & once in Palma, Mallorca.
I share this with you to give you a picture of how broad our community of prayer warriors is. The number of loved ones and our local Church community that are praying for me/us along with those world-wide is unfathomable. That is undoubtedly why Larry & I have had such peace and surrender to whatever will be…will be. We believe that the fruit of prayer is grace! It is said that when grace is abundant for one, it flows out to others. That is my prayer for you. If you're unfamiliar or unsure with what I am describing, it's all right. Please know that I love you and I am grateful for your love, concern and support. I love you for the gift that you are to me!
Holding you in my heart & prayers, xoxoxoxoxo
