   Hello!  I'm too tired to talk about radiation again, so here's something on the lighter side.

   For the first time, a hummingbird came to the flowers on our balcony, yesterday. We were enjoying breakfast when she appeared. She even hovered long enough for me to catch a photo with my phone. It seemed that she was looking strait into my eyes, while franticly waving at me (flapping her wings.)

  More than any creature, when a hummingbird hovers only a few feet away, I experience a wonderful blessing that is meant just for me in a very powerful way. Oddly enough, (from one extreme to the other) the only other creature I have had this experience with was an Orca whale, on the west coast of Vancouver Island, while travelling with our friends on their sail boat. The ocean was very rough. I woke up, throwing up. I was summoned to the upper deck & instructed to take the wheel & keep my eyes looking straight ahead. Still feeling very unwell, I experienced something that changed that. Although it was rough, with heavy fog, I felt a refreshing coolness from a 'fsssshhhhh' sound & light spray. When I turned, I was eye to eye with an Orca who had just blessed me with a spray from his spout. Just like the hummingbirds, this connection was very personal and intentional by the creature. When this has happened I have a strong sense that the creature is aware of my 'unwellness' and has come to bless me. It's so beautiful, and of course always unexpected and so appreciated.

  I hope you have experienced something similar. It's so, so lovely! By the way, we had our second visit from the hummingbird today and look forward, hopefully for more to come.
