A.D.D. + FIBRO-FOG + CHEMO BRAIN = MUMBO-JUMBO *PAR EXCELLANCE*

Hi! If you've read at least 2 or 3 of my blogs, you may have given your head a shake, trying to follow the 'bouncing ball'.
Someone once said "Can you just stop, you're making me crazy with changing the subject every 2 minutes!" Welcome to my brain. At Luke 15 Recovery House, when the guys would get antsy during group, I would throw out the question, "Who's got A.D.D.?" My hand was the first to shoot up! (see I just gave you an example)
As frustrating as it may seem, there's a lot of good creative stuff that happens, especially when something doesn't quite work out the way I planned. I often see a way out or around it, almost right away. So I'm ok with A.D.D. (most of the time). Mind you, fibromyalgia fogging my brain can slow the creative process down. But it's my brain & I'm used to it.
For the last 6 months, however… between Chemotherapy raising havoc with more than cancer cells, not to mention the myriad of prescriptions, including mind altering ones, what my brain has been producing has been quite… well… special! Since last chemo, oh my goodness! Someone tells me something, I don't necessarily hear it the way they said it, then when/if I repeat it… you can't imagine how ridiculous the sentence that comes from my mouth is! Totally different & bazar meaning. People are so kind in their response! I've decided to take what people say (for a while) and just store it in the file marked 'for personal use only'.
So there! If you have made it this far after following the 'bouncing ball', good for you!
The picture above is by Pablo Picasso "Woman in Orange Hat". I re-coloured it blue, as that reflects much of how this past week has been. The image is slightly off reality, but not too far gone! Somehow, it spoke to me!
Thank you for listening to my topsy-turvy explanation. And to those of you that can relate, I'm in good company, and those of you who can't, don't be jealous! Hahahahaha!
God bless you. xoxoxo
