   I, along with people from across Canada, the U.S. and beyond are part of the prayer line that has introduced us to and asked for prayers for a sweet child we have not met, yet holds a very special place in our hearts.

Here is an update that came in today from her parents on Gracie's most recent turn of events in her journey through leukemia.

Re: Mucositis

   "Thank you for all your prayers and good thoughts for our little Gracie last night. Something miraculous happened!

   People prayed for merciful sleep and very quickly Grace fell asleep for the rest of the night.

   People prayed for healing and relief. When I checked her mouth in the morning, I could see slight swelling where the mucositis sores were, but the big white ulcers were completely gone! She said that her mouth and throat were feeling better. She continued to improve through the day!

   We don't know if the mucositis is still active through the rest of her digestive tract or not. But what we do know is that she received healing and relief last night. God be praised!!

(And to put into perspective how amazing this is, our oncologist has told us that mucositis does not just disappear. It usually lasts for 10days, or as long as the chemo continues to cause issues.)"
