Hello. I received a prayer request for baby Elena who was having surgery today for encephalitis, having a shunt put in her brain for the fluid to drain into her stomach. Three months old, and has endured so much. Please pray for her, as well as her family and medical staff. Thank you!

  My doctor called re: blood work for my routine 3 month follow-up. All is well. No signs of cancer. But… I have high cholesterol (1st time for me). So, no more Keto diet, which had virtually no carbs and lots of eggs, meat, (fatty protein). The pounds melted off when I was on it a few years ago. Since chemo, I've tried a few things, without success. So, today I filled the grocery cart with lentils, quinoa, lots of vegies & fruit, low fat cheese & salmon. Dinner was great! Larry didn't even mind (or so he said) the lentil/brown rice vegie dish. The salmon was super. I'm going to physio on Monday to hopefully help get my ankle better. Mild sprain from 6 weeks ago, still sensitive. I really want & need to get walking.
