Hi. I forgot to mention in the update for Larry today in the previous blog, that I had a phone appointment with my medical oncologist this morning. Since my last chemo therapy in October'21, I have had follow-up appointments between the oncologist & our family doctor every 3 months, preceded by blood work. When I answered the doctor to her question "How are things with you?", she was very shocked at my response. I told her that she better not have bad news. She said "No, everything is normal!" So I'm good until my next appointment in November, which will mark one year since treatments.
On this day last July, I was having my 21st out of 25 radiation treatments. We would not have managed well, if we had the double trouble of Larry getting sick last summer. As I've said, Larry was a champion at taking care of and protecting me from any danger. We have definitely endured the test of being faithful "In sickness & in health!" This though, has definitely been the ultimate challenge of enduring pain. The greatest love stories I believe, are the sacrifices that we make for each other, without question! Larry took care of everything & more for me without complaint. He loved me through it all, into wellness. I pray that I will do the same for him... thanks to your loving support & prayers.
