WHAT TODAY'S BLOG DIDN'T SAY..... (08.17.22)
Hello again. I've been getting very 'sad' feedback from my blog today. And sad I was as I sat at Larry's side, expressing myself.
I heard these words from the Gospel of Luke, in my mind & heart, from the time I woke up at 5:30 a.m. this morning.
I find them so consoling because they acknowledge the exact darkness we are experiencing and sometimes are feeling like we are in the shadow of death. But the verse begins and ends so beautifully. "The tender compassion of our God..." With such terrible suffering and uncertainty, "Where is God's compassion???" we might ask. Well I know it, I feel it, I welcome it and I am grateful for it each and every day... through you and so many others like you. And I am absolutely trusting that by God's grace we are being guided in the way of peace. Even when I stumble, fall and cry, I am lifted up again, and again, and I know that I am being guided by, and consoled by God's tender compassion, in the way of peace.
